Are they basically the same network now? Seeing that they share each others coverage.
So just pick the cheapest deal available from either network?

I have been with T mobile for my internet for the last 18 months. I rang them on Tuesday because it was playing up and was told that it was because they were combining the 2 systems and it would connect to the stronger signal, and i would get a much better signal in the future. I was then put through to the upgrade dept. who, as i was happy with the quota i got, reduced my monthly payment from £15 to £6.50 :T and that was without even asking.
This year i WILL have savings!0 -
They're owned by the same parent company but as I understand it are retaining their separate brands. They do use each other's signal as back up for the other, so you should benefit from both.0

The reverse is true - Everything Everywhere owns the Orange and T-Mobile brand. The networks are being amalgamated - is exactly te same way as Vodafone and O2 announced a few days ago. This means the UK will lose 2 national networks, and customer options diminish further as the infrastructure is decimated.0

The big test to see if they are separate or not is being able to pac from one to the other.0
