Parking eye appeals system

Recieved a parking ticket for parking over the 2 hour limit in a Adsa carpark from 21.00 to 02.05. I was actually working in Asda on at the time for a contractor, on receiving the ticket I contacted Asda who said bring the ticket in and they will send a letter with the Parking fine to get it cancelled. The car park is a free for up to 2 hours.
I then emailed parking eye to confirm a letter will be sent by Asda to cancel the charge and gave the name of the person and direct telephone number at Asda who will be dealing with it, but not confirming my name or if I was the driver on that night.
Today I received a letter to say the appeal had failed and I would need to provide the job sheet as confirmation of working at the store within 7 days . I have since spoken to the contact at Asda who has sent the original letter and she has no feedback re the ticket and has previously done the same thing for other contractors but doesn't get any feedback from parking eye re success or failure.
Do I now
1.Contact Parking eye withe the job sheet etc.(ie confirm I was driving the vehicle)?
2.Ignore and wait for the letters to come.
They will only deal with correspondence via letter not over the phone

I would ignore them, personally. You've taken them too seriously already. They do not have the authority to pursue charges for parking 'offences' on other people's land anyway.Je Suis Cecil.0

Just ignore it, it is simply a scam. Do not play their game, they are trying to suck you into their fake appeal system in the hope that when they turn you down they will have softened you up enough to pay them.
If you totally blank them they WILL go away- guaranteed. Just a few asinine letters from them and some cronies; then they give up when they realise that you are not, after all, a mug.0 -
What appeals "system" is this?
Just Ignore PE - and check the forum sticky to see the letters you are going to get so you know when their scam ends.0 -
Dear Parking Eye
I have already told you that the charge will not be paid and have provided evidence why no money is owed. Either cease contact, or waste your own money sending templated junk mail that will be ignored.
Your choice.

Well so far you've been completely taken in by there scam, carry on like this and they'll end up robbing you, as planned
Ignore them. Full stop.
There is no appeals system. Its a private company. There not in the business of giving money back, or not taking money off you even tho the're not entitled to it.
They have no legal basis to charge you anything for anything
As long as you keep talking to them, they'll keep at you. Now you've confirmed they have a mug taken the bait, they'll persist with there rubbish for longer.
Ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore
Got it?

As others have rightly said, ignore Parking Eye completely.
However, I am curious as to what Asda's attitude is. Does this person who has been "appealing" on behalf of you or others have any seniority at all? Surely the lack of response from any of their communications should indicate the kind of company they are dealing with. Seems to me that Asda are uttely clueless about the parasites they have employed, and their operating practices. (nothing new there, then).0 -
I asked the contact at asda does she get any feedback? She has only had one call re a parking query, no correspondence is sent to her from parking eye to confirm cancellation or failed appeals. All correspondence is sent to the registered keeper as far as she knows, so the fact she has wriiten a letter to Parking eye could just be a waste of time as they may just ignore it.0

How many times do we need to repeat it?
It is NOT a real parking ticket.
It is 100% fake.
Do not take it seriously by behaving as though it were real.
IGNORE it. I have done that over 80 times myself and never paid anyone a single penny.0 -
IGNORE :money:PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

Quanto2009,
I recently received the following email
Good Day,
An Iraqi business man made a huge deposit in my bank where am a director and he died with his entire family in the war leaving behind no next of kin,
I'm ready to share with you if you choose to stand as my deceased client next of kin. If interested mail me at: zhangchang@yahoo.com.hk
Sincerely,
Zhang Chang.
I'm sure we've all had similar crap turn up in our 'spam' folders. Unless we're a bit simple, we recognised it as a pathetic scam and ignore it.
Any communication from a PPC is just the same. Ignore it.0
