Rhodes - air-conditoning is an extra at hotel

Mum booked a holiday for her and her friend with easyJet Holidays. They got to the hotel in Rhodes and it seemed that somehow easyJet hadn't notified and/or paid the hotel. It's 24 miles 'down the road'. I had thought of taxi to train station, train to Rapallo. But then I would have to get a taxi to my apartment. Looks like it's car hire and hope for the best.
