I Can't pay my Orange Phone bill with a Post Office Credit Card?

Has anyone else experienced this problem with Orange... I want to pay my mobile phone bill with a Post Office (Bank of Ireland) Mastercard, i have been trying for 3 weeks now, only to be told today that Orange do not accept this particular credit card. I have spoken to the Post Office who said that Mastercard is a world wide recognised Credit card.... why oh why are Orange not accepting it?

    They don't accept Mastercard? When paying by card, I never say and I'm never asked who the issuing bank is. I just say I'm paying by Mastercard.

    Stranger things have happened lol. worth a punt. Could be the PO's systems at fault. who knows. but its a valid means of payment....
