keeping clothes for "when I get slim again"

Yup, I'm guilty of this too! I'm currently a size 16/18 (an 18 is the biggest I've been) but have clothes ranging from size 10-18. My 10s and 12s are boxed up in the loft as I've a long way to go to get back into them. 14s are in the wardrobe in the spare room and 16s/18s are in my normal wardrobe. Even some of the 16s in there don't fit properly though as I'm between sizes.
ETA the last time I was a 10 was 2005, the last time a 12 in 2006 and the last time a 14 (on the bottom anyway - I my large boobs got even more enormous after I had my son!) was 2010. So, yeah, the smaller stuff's been there a while...0 -

My wardrobe still contains all my size 10 clothes, including an entire shelf of neatly folded size 10 jeans right at the top, as well as the size 12s that I acquired on the way from there to here.

If you are 120 lbs and obese, you must be about three feet tall!0 -
I've got clothes boxed up to wear when I'm slim again that I boxed up in - wait for it - 1990! I'm sure they're all either moth ravaged or hideously out of fashion now. I don't know haven't opened the sealed boxes to look at them because I'm still waiting to be a size 8 again :rotfl:
I've got clothes in my wardrobe that are a size 16. Don't fit. Who am I kidding? I'm an 18/20 nowadays.
maybe the stuff from 1990 will be back in fashion again by the time I fit into them...0 -

I can beat 1990. I still have a pair of brown triple waistband flared trousers from the 1970's. I think I last wore them to our Silver Jubilee street party. I tried to get into them last weekend for a themed do but failed miserably. However, I did get into a brash Next suit that I bought in the mid 80's. It's a bit Miami Vice but it fits me perfectly... thanks to the low carb diet I've been following since January.0
