Hi, I am going to swap to Talk Talk 3. They are offering their own 'high tech'
'new technology' dedicated modem for £29.99. Can I use my existing modem or is there any real reason to purchase there own.
Many thanks

You should be able to use your existing modem/router. I used my existing router with no problems, just did the settings manually. The main reason for using modem/router supplied by TT is if you need technical support, they insist you must have the same type modem/router that they supply. Have a look at dsldepot.co.uk they sell used/refurb ones very cheaply, with 30 day warranty. Have purchased a couple of routers from them for other people and have had no problems.
