Cancelling direct debit after contract ends?
Options
I have recently cancelled my contract with Orange and shouldn't be charged again from this month onwards. When I go into my online banking account, I can see that the direct debit is still in my bank account for it. Do I need to cancel / delete this or will Orange just automatically stop charging me from now on?

The lesser of 2 evils is to leave it in place in case of any unbilled charges. You can always get any charges back if incorrect, but owe them as little as £1 and your credit record gets trashed.0

Many banks will delete unused DDs after 12 /18 months anyway. Depends on bank
