Yes exactly and with vast reports of the Iphone having difficulty with call drops etc, it makes me wander if spending 30 p/m for example could be justified when it doesn't seem to do the basics such as call or text. Afterall that's what people need a phone for mainly- calling and texting right?! Anyone recommend buying a used handset of Gumtree or Ebay?

As with any purchase on Ebay etc. you should be cautious. Many handsets are sold on only to be reported stolen later and then blocked by the networks (with the user getting a new one via insurance).
