Pitch Moneysavers Club

Options
Has anyone had any dealings with Pitch tv / Pitch World / Pitch Moneysavers Club? We ordered 'Body Shield Pro Ultimate Cleaning Kit' for cars from their website. Looking at the invoice they have listed, before the VAT, 1 x additional item £1.99. Then a couple of days later they called to say thanks for the order and started to talk about their 'Pitch Moneysavers Club' package that would arrive a few days later and I just listened to their rehearsed speech. They said it would cost £2.99 if I was to join and I said I'd think about it. Well, today the Club package has arrived and the goods I ordered have turned up with a damaged bottle and liquid everywhere. The welcome letter tells me that in 30 days time, the free trial period, they will take a payment of £99.99 for 12 months' membership from my card that I ordered the goods with and that they have already taken a payment of £2.99 for the postage and packing of the welcome pack (without an authorisation number - how can they do this?). Their number is 08448 809 889 which I cannot find on the 'Say no to 0870 numbers' website. I would welcome anyone's suggestions as to how I go about claiming back my £2.99 and finding an affordable number to contact them so that I may get the order replaced. Kind regards.

• My mum has just been conned by the people at Pitch money saving club into joining a supposed " free trial" that has just cost her money for no reason. She phoned to order a huggke buddy from a TV advert for her granddaughter and after the payment went through on her order the person at the end if the phone harrased her so much about this "free" club trial that she said ok as it was a "free" trial. She received the package through the post and realised these vouchers were not suited to her and read the small print to find out how to cancel it only to discover they had charged her £2.99 postage which had never been mentioned on the phone and that if she did not canel it within 30 days she would be charged £99. If you cancel you then have to post the booklet back! I phoned and they are sending out a SAE to rerun the booklet but no way are they returning the £2.99 postage for something she doesn't want. This company are complete rip off merchants- warn other to steer clear. It also puts you off ordering the items advertised on TV if this company are involved in any way as I will definatley not order anything that has their name attached to it.

I have tried cancelling with this bunch only to be fobbed off. However, I understand from their website they have gone into Administration.

Pitch TV has sadly gone into Administration and is no longer accepting customer orders.
If you are an existing Pitch customer, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
If you have ordered in the last few weeks, please be assured your order will be honoured.
If you have any queries relating to an order you have already received, please contact customerservice@pitch.tv

The website notice is here.

• I'm sat here with a new letter on my lap from Pitch Money Savers Club, dated July 26th 2013. Confused and not sure why they are sending me a letter if they are in administration.
They will take £14.99 from my account in 21 days, unless i pay to ring them and cancel it, and then return the document to them, probably by registered post again, which they then will fob me off about not receiving it- so maybe i should call back another day!

I tried to escape them last time by returning the pack they sent me by registered but apparently they hadn't received it a few times when i called. I forgot about it as it was xmas time and never chased it as was also ill at the time.
Fed up with them and why do i have to do all the work and pay when they are writing to me???? I'm not asking or even want their offers.
Biggest bunch of scammer's and i would like some advice how to get them off my back, as i only purchased something my niece wanted for Xmas a year ago and didn't know i was signing away my money and time away!!!

Firstly, a company being in administration does not necessarily mean that they have ceased trading, and clearly in this case they haven't.

There's an email address in the post immediately before yours.
Why not explain to them exactly what you want to happen?
Also tell them in no uncertain terms that the contract is cancelled and they have no authority to take further money from your account.
If they subsequently do take money, that email will be enough evidence for your bank to refund you.

As well as doing that, it would be a good idea to get in touch with your bank or card provider and cancel any authority Pitchtv may have to take money from your account.

Frankly, it is no-one else's fault that you didn't know you were signing away your money.
