Cleaning my teaspoons

I did a search and couldn't find anything, if i missed something please point me in the right direction or merge the thread. I have recently started to drink more tea and coffee than I have done in a while and have found that my teaspoons are starting to discolour. Is there any way of getting them to be shiny again??? I have a DW (feel like I should add "sorry" at that point, but I remain unrepentant!), but don't see spoons and mugs as 'dishwasher dirty' so I tend to rinse them under the tap as I go along, which means I do still have the tannin problem from time to time.

Wouldn't be without my DW for washing up after meals though!
