My understand is that there was no redemption date, so no obligation to redeem them. I understand that they have recently been trading close to par as their interest rate is very competitive, so he could sell them.
Fixed Interest with a "good name" behind it seems to get the British public very excited. Let's just say that I didn't buy any Tesco's bonds.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
