Found one that's in Stoke which is probably the closest for us, it's an hour away but I work in stoke still and my family is there so much easier. Thanks though perhaps well have a day trip to Mansfield

Just to let you all know... just walked past our M&S and they have a 50% off sale on. There was no newborn bits and nothing neutral (but there could be in your local one!) but they did have some lovely bits from 3-6 months for quite cheap. If you know what you are having it might be worth raiding the sizes and finding bits to buy and put away

Cot bed, best thing ever! Moved the base down as she grew, took the side off (drop sided too) then change the foot/head & take the other side off once big enough for a bed should last till 5yrs old

Yeah we'd looked on Ikea and seen there's do that and thought it sounded like a great idea
especially as I can't see us using a Moses basket as there's no room in our bedroom they'd need to be in there's from the beginning but it's literally next door to ours which is good

Cot bed is what we are going for after 6 months.
I still think you will use a moses basket/baby swing/swinging crib for a few months at first... you will make room somehow - move the chest of drawers out into the hall etc.
Most people don't want to leave a newborn on their own at first and its a pain for the night feeds

I'd agree, in the early months it's ideal to have them close to you. My bubs only wakes up once a night now, but I can hear him right away so get to him before he's upset, sometimes even my voice is enough to send him back over. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Lol unless we move the bed or wardrobe out there literally isn't room for them in our room. And nowhere to move the wardrobe too unless we put it outside. When I say it's small it really is small lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
