I invented nothing you pillock and FYI I had read the story on other news sites.0

So what part of this section of the report do you have difficulty comprehending, mikey?
The woman patient - who has not been named - parked her Mini at a disabled bay at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff as she went for treatment after a kidney swap.
But after an emergency she was forced to stay in the hospital and she was unable to drive her car away from the bay.0 -
The bit you can obviously see that says she was a day patient, and was due out within hours. Still lets all jump in there, we can have a bit of a rant about unfair parking charges, and feel better generally. After all, this is a park where you want, sod the rest forum.0

Ah, aren't you the pillock that was happy to ticket people anyway? And the pillock that knows all the facts beforehand.0 -

So- what did she do wrong?
And- what would YOU have done in this situation?
Come on mikey, what would YOU have done then? - Gone out and driven the car home and then got the bus back to continue your treatement?
Come on, you're the one banging on about not tying up disabled spaces, you tell us.0 -

Whats that got to do with an unexpected emergency admission? It's not the drivers fault that they got admitted is it. What where they meant to do with the car - what would you have done with it once you've been admitted?
You're a cruel person mikey. You're expecting the impossible from people.
As for ticketing people, yes I don't deny I've done so but I would never say I was 'happy' about it. I had a job to do and I did it. Without a CEO in your area your streets would turn to chaos so be grateful you have them though frankly you sound like someone who just loves to slag off anyone for anything.0 -

So you can't see the irony here then. What was the sensible action? Go in by ambulance, get a lift, if there is the chance of staying in, not block a space for weeks. Don't you think other disabled patients do? If it had been in the main car park, I'd be agreeing with you. As it wasn't, and was blocking a very limited area, my sympathy is also with the other users that were suffering from not being able to park. I also agree ticketing doesn't help, but should it stay there for months? What would you suggest?0 -
I am surprised you haven't contacted this lady to ask her for Saturday's lottery numbers, given that you seem to think that she can see into the future. Here is a person who was ill enough to need a lengthy admission to hospital and you are banging on about taking up a parking space. If the PPC's moron had had an IQ of over 50, he would have made enquiries as to why a car had stayed in the same place instead of simply plastering it with unlawful money grubbing invoices... given that it was a hospital. You are giving us the impression that you would still have blamed this poor lady for blocking a parking space had she died. There are more important things in life than car park management.0

Indeed there are more important things than car park management. But it seems fairly vital when you can't park, and have to leave an elderly patient to fend for themselves, while you've double park at the door. Like I said then, what would you do. If two weeks is ok, how long isn't for you? Or unlimited, for everyone, forever? So no control, total free for all. Even trickywicky was proud to sort some of the chaos out when he slapped tickets on people.0 -
You seem unable to grasp that the patient neither deliberately nor negligently left the car there for two weeks. That is the reason no-one other than you is critical.
If there were any evidence that she did it deliberately then I would be among the first to echo your comment; but there isn't.
WE certainly don't believe in parking anarchy; our brief is to defeat those who see the mistakes of others as being something they can cash in on, without having any lawful authority to do so, and often by illegal means.0
