I have on 2 occasions gone to the cash machine and the person befores card has still been in it at the "do you want another service" screen. Once the person had gone so I retrieved the card and took it into the bank. Second time the lady was walking away reading the advice slip and I shouted her back and she was very appreciative and thanked me for my honesty as If I was that way inclined could easily have whipped a few hundred out!0

I once ran halfway up my local high street back home when the lady in front of me left her card in the machine. She must have thanked me about four or five times! Thankfully I've never done that although I was very grateful to a kind gentleman who handed in my purse in Matalan the other week when I accidentally dropped it. He spotted me frantically hunting for it, smiled and said he had given it to the ladies in customer service who were looking after it. It had my keys in as well as my debit cards so I'm very grateful theres some honest people about.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

I found a wallet once, and searched through it to find out who the person was. I found a receipt for mobile top-up which had their mobile number on it!
So I rang him and met up to give it back, and he bought me and my friends a pintHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Really wish someone had handed in my grandads wallet when he lost it. it had my late grandma's wedding and engagement rings in it who we had lost 6 weeks before. It totally devastated him
he ad put them in his wallet at the hospital when the nurse gave them to him and forgotten to take them out. They even tried to use his bank cards at the machine but thankfully he had cancelled them already.
