T-mobile contract

They downgraded my mobile internet from 3gb to 1gb, three months after I entered the contract. Does anyone know who I should speak to, to get this changed back? Every time I speak to customer service they say there is no way they can change it back and to wait until renew. How do I know that when I renew they won't do the same thing again?
