    I've found quite a few retailers weren't able to do this previous - in particular Harvey Nichols and Gap - although it's worth asking I've often found I just need to do separate transactions.

    Why not buy three gift cards for £50 each and then buy the item with the vouchers? I find this easier to do than pay for it in three separate transactions. Less confusing for the shop assistants.

    I'm still really struggling to load the offers.

    I know my card is synced but the software continues to say 'Can't load' whenever I try to load an offer.

    I have been advised to log-out and use a new account. On trying this it seems to recognise my mobile number and won't let me register a new account.

    The offers are great but so are the problems!!

    Don't put in a mobile number? I've got 9 separate synced Foursquare accounts and haven't given them my number once.

    Thanks for the advance Russinating.

    You are much better than Foursquare customer support.

    I thought you had to use a Smartphone to load the offers.
    Is this not the case?

    You do - or a tablet running the app.

    Thanks, DOC N

    So I need to open a new Foursquare account using

    * a new e-mail address
    * a landline tel no that I've not used before

    Then I need to load the offers to my smartphone.

    Will Foursquare not expect the smartphone number to match the one given on opening the Foursquare account?

    You don't need to put in a number IIRC, just an email address (of which if you use gmail you can add "+Plat", "+BAPP", etc. to your email address before the @ sign. On your phone/tablet you then just sign into the app with one address, then sign out and back in again with another.
  • As above, I've never inputed a phone number. It's not a required field.
