Just received email from Amex for foursquare deals. Most of them have been mentioned before but thought i'd list them with expiry dates.

Liberty London spend £50 get £25 back (1-31 Dec 2012)

As far as i'm aware you have to log in via 4square to get these ones

Hi can anyone confirm the Liberty one. I don't get the emails :( and another thread said £10 off £50 spend. I want to go tomorrow and I can't get it to come up on foursquare - maybe I need to check in for the offer to appear though...

Has anyone got the Nike one to work? The ones in and around London don't seem to have the special.

On Foursquare, it appears as though it is only the NIKE Corporate Office in London that has the special offer available! (I checked this on the foursquare website)
I rang up Amex this morning about this, and the guy said that you should check-in to the Corporate Office just to get the Special offer activated and click on the Load to Card button....and then spend your £50+ in any Nike shop. If the £25 credit notification doesn't appear on your Foursquare app afterwards, and/or the amount doesn't appear on your online account within 5 days, then give them a call, and they will ensure that the £25 is credited back to your account.
He reckons that Foursquare have forgotten to update the website/app for Nike - as the promotion became active from today.
I was going to try this out in NikeTown this afternoon but got sidetracked so will have to try it out later in the week. HTH

I got the same email and it says spend £50 get £25 back at Liberty. But when I log into the Foursquare website, Liberty doesn't appear to have a Check-In special offer. I think the same thing that has happened to the Nike offer, has happened with Liberty - in that Foursquare have not yet updated their systems with the new offers that started today on a saturday. I'd speak with Amex Customer Services if you intend to spend the money there in the next day or so, to see whether they would accept you just checking into Liberty using your Foursquare app, and not loading the offer to your synced card - because the offer isn't available to view on the app or the website. HTH

Once you check-in and screen refreshes, if a valid offer exists you get a "You have unlocked a Special". Click on it and "Load to Card" should come up.
  • Bah! Liberty offer STILL isn't showing (as of Monday morning). Back home from London 2 day excursion so won't now be able to take advantage of the offer if it does eventually surface.

Ah OK, that sounds like a good plan then - will make a purchase too!

EDIT: Hmm, just tried but kept getting this error:
Sorry, there has been a problem with placing your order. Please click here to try again or call 0871 200 2000 to purchase gift vouchers via the Cineworld Phone Service.
Guess I'll just try again later but not sure quite what's going on...
