Twelve monthly payments of £300 would equate to the £3600 cash ISA limit for the 2009-10 financial year. I can't really see any bank offering a regular ISA that wouldn't let you invest your full £5640 entitlement by the end of the year.
That does make sense as I'd expect the monthly payments to be max of £470 now.0 -

Yes, that's the monthly limit for the Nottingham Building Society regular saving ISA mentioned above - I just checked.0 -
I have not darkened the door of the Nottingham building Society since thwe refused me a mortgage in 1979, I had a savings account with them too, walked across the road to the Abbey National and was offered one on the spot. Pity they lost their way.
FYI I have a First Direct account for over 15 years never had a complaint. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Assuming this is a new product:
It would need to be more than £470 for the 2012/13 tax year now, since we're now in to June.0 -

I know FD let you "catch up" with their regular saver for anything you've not paid in the max of £300 a month.
As I doubt this ISA is even available, but if it was I suspect you'd be able to catch up at some point, or just before the end of the tax year.0 -

Well it wouldn't 'need' to be, the product could (and probably would) be designed with a full year in mind. But for what it's worth the Nottingham BS regular ISA (proper name: Starter ISA issue 2) lets customers make a final top-up payment in March 2013 to reach the £5640 limit.0 -
Just read the footnote in that PDF... it confirms that the product's no longer for sale.

The Nottingham website states it's branch only but it can be opened by post, as reported here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3893373We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

Well spotted. I'd stupidly assumed the '(6)' referred to something like issue 6 of that ISA rather than a footnote
