Alcohol free wine ?

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a dry white wine thats alcohol free ?

I normally drink Pinot grigio so looking for something that tastes like that, cant stand sweet wine so not a fan of the schloer drinks,

I'm craving one something chronic at the moment :o

They do make low alcohol wine (not too sure if alcohol free exists), but having tried it I wouldn't bother again. It may be an acquired taste, but I thought it was pretty much undrinkable.

There is an online company called the Alcohol Free Shop. I am teatotal and order from them regularly. If the wine you want exists, they will have it.

  • I just tried some non-alcoholic wine - wasn't so bad, but nothing at all like wine. It was totally alcohol free - don't know if it makes a difference if it's low alcohol?
I know you asked about wine, but if you like beer, I'd recommend the bavaria ones (white beer version is nice).

We tried a few from Morrisons and found that they weren't that sweet-tasting.

I know you said wine, but...

...the best non-alcoholic "drink" I've ever had is Cobra Zero alcohol free lager. It's what I always have when I want to feel like I'm having a drink but I can't drink alcohol. Really good stuff.

Mishka, I have tried Fre Wines. The Chardonnay is a bit sweet but the White Zinfandel is quite nice. They aren't totally alcohol free, they are "de-alcoholised" so contain 0.5% which I believe equates to 0.3 of a unit for the whole bottle. I've bought them from Asda.
