Awww....dont take it personally hun...sometimes this thread is so busy that postings get lost or overlooked. I have always found this thread to be so friendly and great fun, and yes, I have had had questions go unanswered too, but if you really get stumped on something just ask again!2008 gig list... I wanted to try getting the hands spa with the parenting voucher, as I was planning on applying for the parenting club, but then miscarried my baby last weekend,so funnily enough, didnt bother!!
Good luck on whatever you choose X
Awww honey *hugs* Hope you're okay (well as much as you can be).
I've still yet to do my first bootsing trip - seriously low on money so am waiting for my next £10 boots voucher from pigsback to come through so I combine it with my No7 £5 off one. There isn't really much to spend it on around here though, such a tiny boots store - but I'm not going to let it go to waste - worse comes to worse I'll get some No7 wipes
Roll on April when I go up to OH's for a while, I get to check out the Boots' in London whilst waiting for the bus up to him. Then I'll have some fun I'm sure!0 -
hi Guys i've just returned from boots at the Fort in Birmingham. I finally managed to pluck up the courage to get myself one of the wraps but i dont think i did the moneysaving way!!!
my mum uses the night cream which is £16, so i handed in the £5 voucher and the wrap. to be honest i didnt think it'd go through as the final transaction(£16-£5) was less than £15 but it worked!!!
i then took the £2 bathing voucher out, got the 150 points sanctuary skincare voucher out the ACM machine, £3 skincare voucher out the H&B mag and bought the new skincare wipes and the body polish (+freebie bag). the SA took of the £2, added the 150 points BUT the £3 voucher wouldnt go through, it kept beeping. She said i couldnt use it in conjunction with the free pamper bag!!! awwwwww damn! i thought i'd get the wipes for practically nothing but hey ho you live and learn,
is there something i could have done differently???0 -

LOL...dont tempt me!! Mind you, it probably IS a mission impossible, those MF SAs have built in radar sensers...go within 50 feet of their precious boxes and they pounce on you like a rabid hell-cat, screeting their catchphrase in Dalek style fashion "You cant have that without a £15 spend...you cant have that without a £15 spend"........
(no offence to any NICE MF SAs out there............. wherever you may be hiding!)2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows of Boots/SA in Brum where my parenting voucher would be scanned without question? I did'nt have much luck yesterday with the 2 City Centre Boots! The other option is the Fort.....but not too confident after yesterday's experience!0 -
phoned cs and they confirmed that you should get the wrap with no7 purchases paying with points and are sending me a wrap in the post
also i asked about £5no7 voucher as i didn't receive that either and they said you shoud also get that when paying with points and gave me an extra 500 points on my card
i have made several purcases before and have not recieved one and have not kept the reciept so can't do anything about that but i will query it next time i don't get one

I know the feeling hun! Money is a bit of a four letter word in our house at the moment so splurging in Boots wouldnt be an option without all these vouchers. But thanks to this thread, pigsback and a survey site I have enough vouchers for a nice little trip out. Dont forget you can get a £5 No7 voucher with a mobile top up....I nabbed my sons top up card off him today, INSISTING that I do it for him, just so I could have another voucherThe No7 wipes are what I go for, and also the limited edition matt lipstick is quite nice (reduced in some stores so £1 with a voucher), and the eyeliners work at about £1.75 with voucher.
Good luck when you go for your first Bootsing trip :j2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -

Ok day, could have done a lot better.
Had an idea that would make my life a little easier in Boots - really wish they had self check scan machine like Tesco do so you can go show the bar code to it to find out the price rather than visiting some scary SA's.
