Ok, I know that this is a very stupid thing to ask (but my excuse is that we have all had this viral gastroenteritus thing that is doing the rounds, adults worse than the lads and I am still icky on day 6 so my maths has gone completley to pot :rotfl:

For amusement I have been trying to fill in an application form for the Boots Parenting Club (yes, not even well enough to play on the computer!)

I have to have child one aged between three months and two years,(at least six months older than child two)
child two between nought and three months
and be less than 28 weeks preganant so I need a due date

Please can someone help with some possible date paremeters?

Anything else I need to know? I have four cards to do for myself, my daughter and my m-i-l

So does this mean that we now have to spend in whole pounds? I mean that if you spent 25p, 50p or 75p you go points but after the change you will need to spend over £1?

So how will we know which are the 50 stores are starting this first?

I was thinking of emailing them for clarification but it takes days for them to return your email. Has anyone got the correct email address?

    Mary

Just for everyones info not sure if you all knew about this but please see the below regarding the earning of Advantage points...

From the 11 April, the way that Boots award Advantage Card Points is changing. Instead of 1 point for every 25p spent, Boots will be awarding 4 points for every complete £ spent.

This is consistent with the way Boots communicate the terms of the scheme to there customers.

The change will be piloted in 50 stores between 11 April and 27 April and then rolled out to all other stores between 30 April and 18 May. Boots.com won't be implementing this change until 2008.

It says on boots.com that you get 500 points if you buy two Origins products. How do you get 750 points instead?

    Hi

Looks like the Origins points offer finished yesterday as it not adding points to order and was for 1 week only. Sorry.
  • Hi,
Yesterday I was in the Tower Centre's Boots in Ballymena, they have a large selection of the sanctury spa skincare reduced - prices range from £1.37 to £2.50. Tweezerman tweezers for £3, Nivea body satin radiance £1, Celulite creams/sprays/patches £1 - £3, Botanics facial and body wash cloths and mits £.50p, lots of Nivea Garnier suncreams at £1.50 as well as other beauty products (such as the No7 Lipstick and Purple bags @ £6.50)
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Natasha.

That's how I understand it. I think they will loose a lot of business as I know I often went in and bought stuff which is under £1 like a 29p tube of toothpaste where you still got 1 point.

Hi, I wonder if you guys can help?

DDI wanted a couple of eye shadow pots from the collection 2000 range so I said she could get them with some of my points. We noticed that if you spend £5 then you also get a free lip and cheek tint so grabbed one of those as well. At the till it all went through fine but the till said I couldn't pay with points as they were invalid products  The SA said a lot of make up does this and there is nothing they can do about it.

Is this right?, I thought all makeup could be bougt with points, or maybe you can't use points when there is free gift involved

Can anyone shed any light on this, I will have to buy these now as I promised them

    Thanks

1 point = 1 penny, so when you've collected 1000 Advantage Card points you'll have £10 to spend on everything in store apart from a few legal exclusions: postage stamps, giftcard/ vouchers, mobile phone top up cards, prescription items, infant milks (up to six months), and Boots travel services.
    this is off website.
so the sa was wrong, the free gifts dont allways go htrough with points but somebody on here was told that you can get free gift and pay with points.
    give customer services a ring.
