Hi folks, not sure if it has already been mentioned, but thought i would just say as summer hols are round the corner.
Boots own brand 35mm camera film (for those that still use it) is 7.50 for 5 in a bag (in iteself pretty good) but if you get it developed at boots you get an extra 100points per developed film. so you get 500 points back, therefore the film only costs 2.50 for 5. Combine this with recent vouchers from boots atm of 150points for ordering prints on cd aswell (costs £1 extra)

Not bad for those of us that still like camera film. Also local leicester branch is selling off photo albums from as little as £1.50

 25p a bottle! wow oh thanks btw!

I have used this basic range when kids swam all the time - ok really take sout grease but a bit strong maybe to use every time we added lavender oil to pep it up a but. It is long lasting as hardly need to use any.
Also the basics range includes shaving foam for men about 30p fine
shower gel and bath foam all about 30p and all fine

Also tescos do their own range in white packaging and this is fine too especially the night cream for 97p they hide it on the bottom shelf so may need to search a bit. I always buy it to bulk up when using money off vouchers.

To use the mailed out coupons, does the name on the coupon have to match the name on the card?

IE My bf (whose name is on our card) doesn't get any mailings.
However, some coupons came in the post to the house I've just moved in to, addressed to the old tenant. They moved so long ago that the mail is no longer redirected and the letting agents no longer want to take any post that comes here.

Could I use the coupons? (Would be a shame for them to go to waste!)

hope so, the name on my mailed coupons is my married name and the name on my adv card is still my maiden name, even though i've been married 6 yrs i couldn't bear to be without a card whilst i sent it back to have the name changed although i did notify boots of my new name!!

I sell a lot on E-Bay ( Mostly Benefit Cosmetics) and a few months ago I had about 10 listings pulled by E-Bay because I copied the description from the Benefit website aswell as using their photos. Now I use the photo but I write my own description. I dont agree with E-Bay pulling listings when there is so many fraudulent listings that they ignore but I can kind of see Boots reasoning as you are selling with their description!! Just list with your own brief description as most people dont want to read all the blurb anyway

    Hi

Do you buy the Benefit cosmetics from Boots ??? My niece loves the stuff but it is so expensive. I usually only buy it in Debenhams:o

My sister was working in Miami so when I new she was coming home I ordered it to be delivered to Miami and she brought it home. Also I visited New York in November and brought a lot back. If you visit Benefit Cosmetics.com you can by direct and have it delivered here or in the Usa However if you have it delivered here you pay VAT and customs. If you find somebody going you can have it brought back. Also I dont think it is a problem with customs because you wouldnt order over th gift limit. Howver I did buy two sharpeners from Benefit on saturday in Boots because you got 500 points for buying 2 items and the sharpeners only cost £6.00.

I tried doing this, used all my own pictures and a brief description e.g. product name, what it does, starting bid, P&P details. Didn't copy any of it from the Boots site and they still pulled my auctions. I think it must be something to do with using 'No7' in the listing which even if you list without that on the listing anywhere, it will still be there if you put a picture on the auction.

oh-oh. i have been selling some of my protect & perfect and refine & rewind samples and have just had my listings pulled by ebay, or more specifically boots. It is against copyright apparently. Seems a bit unfair, there are hundreds of these on ebay, are they going to pull them all? They are totally out of stock on the website, so it's not as if we are taking business away from them.

just a word of warning to anyone else who is selling them.

I live in Nottingham (Headquarters and factories of Boots) and around here (if you know where to look) we can get tons of Boots freebies, donations to school, groups etc of smellies, testers, product seconds etc.

Thing is - it is strictly no resale - and i know from friends who work at HQ that others have been taking the mickey and selling tons of the free stuff of ebay, car boots etc.

So - it can be the actions of a greedy few who ruin it for everyone.

  • Morning all - I seem to remember that someone said that you could pay via paypal on Boots.com - is this true?? I can't seem to find that option in one of the 'payment methods'??
would be grateful for confirmation from anyone who has paid using paypal - thanks!

nb - what are people getting with their £5 off no7 from the recent mailings - any ideas what to use it against?? Cheaper the better!!XX
