Howdy happyshopper! :hello:
I have banned myself from boots until next week as I seem to spend too much time there, and I swear the SA look at me like I am a freak!!!
But when you do go, make sure u stock up on the serums if they are there. I dont sell on ebay so no use to me but you may as well make some bucks!
gosh I reckon me and u could spend all day eating chocs!!! :rotfl:
Dont want them for ebay!!! want them for me :rotfl: !!
ooooooooo chocolates , where ????
And which sa was that ??? go upstairs , they are lovely up there , esp the small lady who needs a box to stand on to reach the till , bless :rotfl:0 -
oh-oh. i have been selling some of my protect & perfect and refine & rewind samples and have just had my listings pulled by ebay, or more specifically boots. It is against copyright apparently. Seems a bit unfair, there are hundreds of these on ebay, are they going to pull them all? They are totally out of stock on the website, so it's not as if we are taking business away from them.
just a word of warning to anyone else who is selling them.
You're not on your own. This happened to me on my OHs account last week - I pulled my 3 other No7 auctions myself, 2 of them were for protect & perfect tubes so I sold for the top price at that time before they pulled those as well. They can also cancel auctions after they've finished, strange as it seems, they've done that to me before as well.
I agree with you that it does seem unfair when there are hundreds listing No7 stuff. I've emailed the person at boots that Ebay says will answer any questions you have about why the listing was pulled, this was Friday. No reply yet.
A word of advice for you now. Its probably not worth you listing any more No7 items. If what happened to me was anything to go by I believe Boots will be watching your account from now on and if you get 3 auctions pulled you get account suspended and have to send ebay your identification docs to get your account re-instated. ridiculous really when all you want to do is make a few quid towards the bills and there are others out there who are only there to rip others off, yet ebay do sweet FA about it0 -

Thanks I have a couple of other No7 items which I will pull for now. I do a lot of selling on ebay and don't want to lose my account. I think I will e-mail the person also to express my disgust at their actions!
All seems very unfair, as you say we're not trying to rip people off (I was actually selling my tubes at £4 a go, not exactly mega-bucks!) just make a few extra quid, which enevitably will probably be spent in boots on nappies etc.0 -

how can this be right? how could boots control your ebay listings?
is it because you used photos from the boots site rather than using your own? thats the only 'copywrite' issue i can think of0 -

I'm not sure really, I have e-mailed the contact at Boots to ask why, not expecting a reply. The photos are actually my own, not from the site so can't be that. Maybe because I cut and paste the text from the website for the product information. Or used the words 'Boots No7', which is maybe a registered trademark. I don't know, surely they have more important things to be worrying about in Boots, like getting Protect & Perfect back in stock on the web site and in the shops!0 -

someone has reported you , proberly someone else selling them.
ebay dont check the listings before they pull them, so will only give you the basic its against copyright speach. all the other listing will stay on unless they all get reported
