Apparently the goodie bag is supposed to have a few bits of makeup in it but i was wondering if like most freebies it may go through with only a small purchase like an eyepencil or something.I might try it with a £5 spend to see how it comes up on receiept and then with something smaller and the offer is only for today(i think) on 17 makeup.I like 17 gifts lastime i got a lovely eye pallete with an eyepencil and the colour and quality of that was brilliant
p.s just thought hope boots aren't april fooling usLove can tame the wildest0 -
I had a good day at boots.Didnt really need anything but had the boots £5 parenting voucher and my free huggies bag so i picked up a Facial sauna and changing bag and a pack of huggies newborn nappies. The normal fussy SA on all the tills so i took them to the photo till ,came to £51.74 or something so i handed over vouchers and it came down to £3.75:D
just the price of the nappies
The young lad looked a little confused but just carried on:T0 -
Morning all!!XX Just a quick question - could I return/exchange 'Huggies baby wipes' without a receipt??? .....has anyone else found that 'bits' come off when using them?? (bits of paper thread??)...I think the Boots cloth wipes are better.
Would appreciate a reply - thank you!!XX
???
i agree,is it the ones in the blue packaging with winnie the pooh on the front.
my DS 2years old has just had reconstructive surgery on his ickle winkle and i find they are leaving bits on where the stitches are,i thought it was the wipes getting stuck on the stitches but maybe not now.
Id take them back and if they dont give you an exchange or refund phone huggies and tell them.

What things go through with the £5 parenting voucher???
I also wanted the protect or refine serums, but they don't?
I know the mirror & is it the big facial sauna that does?
Would appreciate advice.
Don't want to waste voucher!!!
Thanks in advance.0 -

I came home with bags of bargains the other day, started to show him - saying "this was a quid" "this was free" he turned round and said " I arent bothered... its just stuff!"
I think I will be giving it a rest for a while... well... till this new rubbish voucher goes away :rotfl:
This made me laugh as it is exactly the same in my house. I have been know to be 'economical with the truth' about the cost of things when showing my OH new purchases in the past - falling rather flat when the bank statements come as we have a joint account!- so I am sure he thinks I am fabricating when I show him what I got free or for 50p etc. I have even tried to show him the receipts though, but as these bargains usually invovle cosmetics or skincare he isn't in the slightest bit interested. He is not a very 'new' man when it comes to using this sort of stuff himself -even though he now has a shelf full of men botanics thanks to a recent haul of reduced items (50p each) bought individually with 250 AC points vouchers!0 -
