I just got a letter back from the store manager, no apology for what happened and 100 ac points 'for the upset caused'. Have my ac back, so will get mum to use up the points.

Rang back cs, spoke to manager who dealt with it yesterday, he didnt get a chance to speak to store manager but is going to call regional manager and call me back today.

Im shaking again:mad: Thank god for internet shopping, at least i cant get accused of stealing from them.

 100 points and no apology????
Take it higher hun, write to head office, tell them where to stick their 100 points (as others have said, its not about points or money, and even if it was 100 points is an insult!) and demand a proper, full apology!! How dare they try to fob you off like that!!
Good luck to you zztopgirl....here's a ummmm, group hug (nudge nudge wink wink) to make you smile :grouphug:

  • Ok dont know if this is the right place to post this so apologies in advance.
Did anyone watch the Horizon program last night about wrinkle creams.
They did experiments to see if any creams on the market work and said they had found one in Boots. They didn't name it but showed a picture of No 7 protect and perfect beauty serum.I assumed this to be the cream they were talking about but my sister seems to think it wasn't cos they didnt name it.
Checked on Boots site and its out of stock making me think other people had thought like me.
Anyway I have a £5 No7 voucher to use and wondered if it was worth using it on this cream?
Sorry for the long the post but any help appreciated. This is my first post on the Boots thread so please be gentle with me.

I saw this programme too and as I was in Boots this morning, I looked for this product, but could not see it at all - not even a space where it should have been. I assumed that it must have been replaced with a new version - perhaps with a new name. I didn't have time to ask a SA though.

Glad the new offers arent so good I dont think they like the boosters in boots!

Hi, and welcome to the thread!
I didnt see the program but am sure you could do a bit of online searching and find which product Horizon said was best. I guess if the No7 one is suddenly out of stock it may well have been that one.

Does anyone know, can you use the £20 voucher against the purchase of sunglasses when the next set of vouchers come out or is it just for the optician glasses? Thanks.
