Well, i got the Times Sanctuary free one only becauase the sa put the item through and took the voucher off me and closed the transaction so I had to pay for the second sanctuary item and she would not take the mag voucher but kept it anyway!

Got a No7. sun thing but they only had one left so no bogof she took the voucher but would not give me another one cause I had only spent £1 in effect.

Picked the number 7 electrical thing but realised too late that I had not been given the voucher earlier so paid full price for it.

After that my head started to hurt, every single sa, security guard on the camera's, manager and even the staff at the M&S opposite were looking at me and laughing. So I gave up, came home, got riddiculed and am now sat in a dark room with my laptop.

  • hi phil51 dont get put off we have all mucked up offers before and ended up paying more, also sounds like you got a wise sa, its best to aim for the photo counter or pharmacy to pay they seem better with the vouchers,

dont forget if you dont want the bits you paid full price for then you can return them with your receipt

Ooooooooooooooh, we all feel sorry for you now! But well done for trying :o . If you feel brave, you could call Customer Services and mention that you missed out on a Sanctuary Pamper Bag with your purchase of 2 Full Size Sanctuary items, that your voucher was taken but you did not have £3 deducted and you may end up being awarded some extra points to make up for it. Worth a shot? The telephone number is on your Boots card. I am assuming you have one? And you could always return the electrical item with receipt to get your money back and let your other half do the shopping next time ;) ?

    Brilliant day for me

used 4 x 250 points on mens botanics to buy 4 shave oils reduced to 86p each :D (4 separate transactions) so spent £3.44 and got back £10 in points

Next I got free Collagen mask plus a sanctuary facial wash ( no weekend pamper bags in store anywhere but at least 3 signs advertising the offer). Also got a pack of No7 wipes and another 86p reduced botanics shave oil

used £5 no7 voucher for wipes
£3 mag voucher for sanct face wash
times voucher for free collagen mask
gave in 250 points mens botanics , 150 points & 200 points sanctuary skincare

Paid £5.06 got another no7 voucher and 616 points back :D

    Splendid:T

Sorry to post again about this, but if this bag http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1075210&classificationid=1031586 is being sold on the website, should it be sold in the shop too instead of being a free gift alongside the wrap? Will ring cs and ask in the morning cos im curious to know:o

    That is horrendous!
Report them to CS for every single one of those things because they are completely utterly wrong! Even if they have run out of vouchers they don't need to be rude about it and the other things you were told were complete hogwash (polite way of putting it).
If you ring CS I suspect they'll give you some AC points to apologise and probably suggest you take your receipt to the store and claim the suncare you are OWED!
Thank god most Boots don't treat us like this!

There is no excuse for rudeness, I agree, however the assistant was quite correct that the voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (i.e. bogof) and that the voucher should only be redeemable against a single item. We all know of course, that the till accepts these transactions, however, when it is picked up and an SA refuses to play ball, just smile sweetly and live to fight another day. There is no point stamping your feet when you get rumbled and making yourself memorable. As I said, rudeness is a different matter completely.

Just my opinion and not meant to offend anyone at all x

Just a reminder to everyone about the free pamper treatments with the boots giftcard. You need to top the gift card with £20- but you can use piggy vouchers- and then you send away your details for a free pamper treatment. They are just normal gift cards with a bonus- and you can use the giftcard whenever you want- no minimum spend. Also it is not limited to one per household. I have sent away for2 and 1 for my mother inlaw. You can get a free -accupressue,aromatherapy, facial, manicure, pedicure, head massage, reiki ,aromatherapy. You send way your reciept and get a list of places nearby that are eligable. Not all stores have these cards so I stock up on them when I see them ( its free to take a blank card ! ) and use them when to cash my £20 piggy vouchers.
this iswhat they look like so you know what your looking for, as I had difficulty finding them at first-

A reminder for those who missed them. These are gift cards usually at the till area- however a lot of stores dont have them so thats why I take a few.

The horrid girl ( i use the wordlossely ) at BENEFIT counter at glasgow fort told me no one has bags left so would never get one ! oH right well I wont be getting any of my dandellion make up from her- I would seriousily avoid her. My OH was with me and told me she was throwing me daggers from across the store before I even spkoe to her ( must be puberty ). Good news as glasgow fort has a few sanctuary bags left and some oil sanctuary sets reduced to £3 at back of store- you get the bag free with them.
