hi ad bad day at boots 2day. used my vouchers up. i picked up the no7 lotion buy 1 get 1 free and the sales assistnat said i can only buy one product and use the voucher so i only got one sun tan lotion.
then in my second transaction i picked some sale no7 items up and the sa assisnt said i can only have one item for £1.50. i picked 3 £1.50 items up and only got 1
in my third transaction i tried to use the voucher on electrical and the sales assisnt said can only use it on make up
then i spent another £5 in store so was intiled to another voucher and the SA didnt give me one. so i asked the sales assisnt where is my vouvher and she said rudely we ran out.
i hate goin to boots and getting treated like dirt. each time i went to the till i was goin to a differetn sales asistant to and the where all offish with me.
aww!! don't worry we all have bad days sometiems because of the nasty sas who seem to think the offers are invented by corrupt shoppers By the way you have been treated i think you should ring customer services and complain-they are really nice usually and will not be pleased to hear about staff attitude in that store.
No7 sun body lotion(if that is what you got) is on bogof so sa was wrong to let you only have one.You should take it back and claim your bogof suncream
the voucher clearly states no7 products not makeup only which includes electricals so the sa was wrong again, reduced priced items normally go through up to the value of the voucher so you should have been able to get 3 reduced no7 things and if you havent been given a voucher take your reciept to another store and show your spend they should give you 1 if not ring customer srvices. That sa's attitude disgusts me, its not coming out of her pocket and if she can't serve customers properly then she is in the wrong proffesion -She had no right whatsoever to treat you like that
P.s fingers crossed a massive red ugly spot will appear on her nose tonight and she will have to face customers all day long-the spot will be shouting "look at me" and she will not have any vouchers or points to get spot treatments(and even if she did they wont work on a moody you no what like her.)Love can tame the wildest0 -
Thanks curlylox! I was out last night and couldn't bring myself to read all 15 pages of posts I'd missed.
I'll pick one up tomorrow and use it to buy lunch for the next while. I think the expiry date is June or July so there's time to get more too0 -
That is horrendous!
Report them to CS for every single one of those things because they are completely utterly wrong! Even if they have run out of vouchers they don't need to be rude about it and the other things you were told were complete hogwash (polite way of putting it).
If you ring CS I suspect they'll give you some AC points to apologise and probably suggest you take your receipt to the store and claim the suncare you are OWED!
Thank god most Boots don't treat us like this!

yup i agree...that is total c***!! Defo ring CS and dont hang up until you have fully vented, you will feel much better.
go back in and demand to speak to a manager i say, power to the people! All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -
No Sanctuary bags anywhere down here in brighton. Been out to worthing too. They say they are expecting them in!
can i use myTimes voucher as 1 towards a free bag? (ripped the barcode getiing it out of mag, hoping they'll still accept it!)
i'm going to Guildford tomorrow anyone from there know what goodies are going and Sa's to avoid.
many txs0 -
Hi eveyone, now that I stocked up on Nº7 and Sanctuary, it's time for me to move on to... Clinique. The offer in store with bonus package full of samples is really nice (buy 2, get gift), but it is a bit pricey... Online there is a 750 pts with any 2 clinique, but no free gift. Hummm
I don't have any other offer for Clinique, as some of you have. I tried enrolling on their mailing list with the SA today at Oxford Street Boots, but she was not very nice and told me to do it online. Did it take a long time for the mailings to start after you enrolled?
The creams are for the summer, so I don't have an absolute need to buy them now... so I turn to your money saving tips for the best way to get the most out of the clinique offers.
Thanks.
I dont have any extra offers for clinique and am on their mailing list which i dont think is that good, apart from the fact that you get to know when the bonus times are.
the people that have 750 extra points are really lucky, if they can use them with bonus time wish i had that!!!
boots bonus time is by far not the best for clinique fans as you do not get as good gifts as you do in other stores. I would say harrods and selfridges have the best by a mile, followed by John Lewis with debenhams on par with boots. Boots only being good for points.
if you are paying with cash i would look at when the next bonus times are in the other stores, as selfridges will post out what you want if you can not get to one. But if boots is the only hope then just dig deep and go for it!! I had a really nice SA who let me pay with one product with points and another with cash as i did not have enough points for both.
apart from that i dont have any extra clinique tips, but hopefully someone else will! :beer:All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0 -
Would anyone have any 250point botanics mens vouchers they wont be using? If you had three or more i could swap it for a £5 No 7 voucher?!
Thanks

Well I went, thought I would get home before my wife, shower her with the fantastic bargains I had managed to get thanks to the superb people on this forum and be in for a cuddle tonight.
I made one fatal error though - I am not female!
The SA's saw me coming and I ended up spending £35, no freebies (Except for the Times offer) and now my wife says I am not allowed out on my own anymore.
So next time I want to do something like this I am going to Rent-a-Boots'er before I go out.Comping 2008 wins £4842 2009 wins £950.50 2010 Wins £140 2011 £00 -
