BTFon query
Options
I have a new phone and in trying to get to grips with its complexities - I have picked up a BTFon WIFI signal - that appears to be received at an astounding 39Mbps - if true ??
Anyway - Can someone please set my mind at rest - Am I going to be billed for this by Tmobile or is it free to use under my contract (a Pay Monthly account) ?
I can find no mention of it on my on-line account and assume that if I was expected to pay - my phone would not have just automatically logged on ??

If it let you on, then I suspect the owener has not set an access key . If you had got on via FON, the speed is usually restricted.0

So - are you saying that I should not have access to BTFON ?
According to on-line searches - BTFON costs £'s - could it be that Tmobile are using BTFON ?0 -
I can answer my own question

Yes it does and yes I can !!!!0 -
You need to log into it to use BTFON. If you try and connect, the webpage will default to the BTFON log in page. If you are a BT Total Broadband customer, you can access it free of charge, same as BT openzone, otherwise its pay as you go internet access.
Edit - crossed posts, good to know tmobile customers can access it free tooDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0 -
They can try to charge me for something that was not restricted in access in any way - but won't get very far !!
I have to download some software to give me login details and an account0
