    Time for me to declare!

Evening all! I'm reporting a little spend of £8.58, which takes my July total to £197.59 - a whole £2.41 under budget :D I didn't think I was going to make it this month so thank you for all the support and encouragement. I'll see everyone on the August thread and all the best for continued challenges.

    Best foot forward. :)

    K xx

I've just realised I've gone slightly over my budget this week. :(
It is certainly a no spend day today so the damages aren't that bad. Don't really need anything other than potatoes til Saturday so I'm gonna do meals without em til then;)

Ps, I found an old nectar card that I had from a year or two ago. I registered it online yesterday and there is over a tenner's worth of points on it :money::j

    smelkel87 - Congratulations!!!

NSD here as we are recovering from last night's BBQ. Lots of meat, salad and sides leftover in the fridge, so that's lunch sorted!

Tea tonight will either be steak, chips, corn on the cob and mushrooms OR leftover BBQ stuff, depending on how much is left.

Everyone brought a bottle too so soft drinks and wine stocks are looking healthy :D

Will have a look later at meal-planning for August. We are away from 4th to 18th in the U.S. so budget will be revised accordingly. Have been trying to be 'good' foodwise this week as I know I will be eating bigger portions over there. Have had a couple of A!dis $oupreeme cuppa soups this week for lunches. Really nice with a piece of JJ's herby cheese bread :)

    Have a good day everyone.

  • smelkel87, congratulations on the birth of your little boy :j.
I had a spend of £7.66 yesterday. I am not going anywhere today so that will be a nsd. So, i am declaring £293.75 for July. My August challenge will start on Friday so i had better get over there.
Good luck to all and see you over on the August thread.

Smekel, congratulations on your little bundle of joy.xx

JJ, thankyou for the info about the voucher. I will get 2 today. :)

No more spends here as I just couldn't fit anything else in. A cherry pie and some steak has came out of the freezer for dinner tonight. The rest of the pie is going to my parents.

I hope everyone is well x

I forgot to mention that MrT has mushy peas for 4p. Just incase anyone did not know.

I made 3 of these in to a lovely ham and pea soup. 6 portions and cost less than £1. :)

Time to declare. I cannnot believe its a whole year since I joined this thread.

I can now total up 643.00 for the year, Half of what I was spending prior to joining I have gone from daily shopping to weekly , all good except that I have put on a lot of weight, combination,I think of not enough excercise now I am only shopping weekly and too much stuffing my face with homemade bread and cakes, etc.

I dont think its going to be possible to reduce my spends on food any lower but am thinking maybe I can make more healthy choices

So my aim for the coming year is to keep within my budget and reduce myself by 2.1/2. stone. I also seriously need to reduce the amount of
stockpile I already have in so am thinking for August I will join the fiscal fast challenge as well.

Ran out of fruit so have just popped to the greengrocers and picked up a punnet of strawberries, box of grapes and 4 bananas for a grand total of exactly £4. Will add to the July total and declare this month as officially over!
