Thanks for all your comments. :T

It's my husband who takes most of the photos, and yes he has a good camera - a Nikon DSLR - but also a good eye for a great shot! :D

Regarding the watermarking - I know what you're all saying (and agree with it)... I did previously watermark over the body of the cat, but then I was getting comments of people saying they didn't like it.... I've looked at other people who watermark and they seem to do it at the corner or the side...

So I'm in a bit of a quandary and would appreciate any further thoughts - pros and cons?

Also, I have no idea how to sell any of the pics, I started it as a bit of fun... but now you mention it and you guys think they are good enough, well, I'm not averse to earning a few extra pennies, just have no idea how to go about it! Anyone got any thoughts on that one?

They are both Bengals, tod123 - Spot is a Brown Spotted Bengal and Lula is a Blue-eyed Snow Spotted Bengal.

Bengals were first bred in the 1960s by an American lady who crossed an Asian Leopard cat (a shy, timid creature) with domestic cats. By the 4th/5th generation the wild look of the cat remains but with the temperament of the domestic cats - so you get the best of both worlds.

    Sorry for my ramble :rotfl:
  • Awwww gorgeous as always!

    Totally cracking pic of Spot!

You can def protect your pics as example here http://www.flickr.com/photos/niallcorbet/5437855507/ but have absolutely no idea how you do it unfortunately..... ps yes that beach is near me (not an everyday walk near but probably go every couple of weeks or so) & it's one of my absolute favourite walks!

Might be somewhere to start looking (no experience of them so please investigate if you do decide to down that route) - prices look reasonable. HTH

Thanks for the info, rising! That beach looks gorgeous!

When I first set up the Bengal Cat World website/blog, I looked into preventing right clicking and copying... but there was some reason why it was recommended you don't do this and I can't for the life of me remember what it was ;)

:j. Well done ,and fantastic photos as usual . Spotty doesn't look that bothered to be fair ,more interested in flying :) .

People do have a point , as I printed a pic of the babies off at work and have it on my locker..(I have a cat of the month or two locker thing going on ,just me)....Ooops , I didn't think about it,hope it's ok ?! If not I will take it down .

If you don't mind however , was thinking of putting the flying one up for july ;)....with some kind of caption underneath that I haven't thought up yet.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Absolutely fine, calicocat - I like it when people share and enjoy my pics ;) That's kinda the point of doing them ;)

If you want to share my website / Facebook address as well that would be nice: the more people that "like" or subscribe to my pages, the better :T
