    Evening all

We have been decorating today-stripping the wallpaper in our bedroom. OH is still doing it as we didn't start until nearly lunchtime. I hate decorating and have been putting it off for about 18 months when we had a mad blitz and had the whole house skimmed, new doors and refurbished the bathroom.

So......we want the ceiling skimmed but are undecided about the walls as I am going for the less disruption option. I don't know where we will sleep when the plastering is done-there is a P*****r I** nearby LOL!

If anyone can send me some keep calm and carry on decorating vibes I will be grateful.

Hugs and best wishes to all.

I thought the jubilee concert was fab overall, some dodgy singing (Elton, Cheryl, Kylie) but on the whole a fab experience to watch.

    Evening everyone

Late again posting. Must try harder to get on here earlier. Yesterday went into London to watch the Queens jubilee pageant, got a bit wet, could only get a glimpse of the river from near to the Tower of London, but soaked up the atmosphere.

Today went to gym this morning, then walked woofer, the day seemed to pass really quickly. I have being doing a personal statement for a job which has to be in on Wednesday which has taken longer than expected. Other than that not much os apart from wm load on and cleaned kitchen after dh cooked dinner.

Been watching the concert tonight, it was brill, shame Prince Philip was in Hospital (hope he recovers soon). I loved seeing Peter Kay and Rolph Harris.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care

I too watched the concert on t.v. and HM looked so sad when she came on at 9.00 bless her no matter what the show goes on,I bet she would rather have been in the hospital with him.She looked so lost and sad at first.I do hope he gets better soon they seemed so happy yesterday at the pageant What a nice speech Prince Charles made she looked at one point as though she was going to cry bless her. Can't say I was impressed with Elton,Kylie or Cheryl. The last I thought was awful and she can't hold a note.
Peter Kay was great and a shame poor old Rolf Harris got hustled off before he finished his song.
Weren't the fireworks terrific, there's no doubt about it we really do the buisness when it comes to putting on a show. Robbie was great, but then I am a fan(I saw him in Amsterdam in 2006)What a spectacular show, it will hopefully bring the tourists flocking to our green and pleasant land once again as the t.v. showed some great shots of the London skyline.Everyone looked like they were having a fun time.Thank goodness there were no incidents to mar it.I think even though the weather was rubbish yesterday it made people more inclined to make the effort.
I had a great day at DDs and we had a superb dinner tonight.I also tried the magic eraser out on my DDs downstairs bathroom that the boys use and it was brilliant on the bath (sometimes after four mucky boys have used it to bathe in the ring is a bit of a begger to remove).I highly reccomend them, even though it does need a bit of elbow grease, it works beautifully
Right I'm off to bed for a read as tomorrow I can have a lie-in as its a Bank Holiday again :):)
    Night all God Bless
