am i entitled to an exchange without a reciept?

    thankyou both for you're answers, i have found an old Miss Selfridge reciept, and on the back it says 'if you do not have the reciept we will exchange your unworn purchase for an alternative product at the current selling price' lets hope so!

    They do in this case, they have clear T&C's on the back of the receipt.

    OP said it was an OLD receipt they found so depending how old it is the T&C's may have changed

    Their online T&C's say they are happy to refund within 14 days but not sure if the instore policy is the same

    thankyou all for your responses, i took the dress back successfully yesterday and swapped it! no problem :) note to self: guard all future reciepts!
