I can believe the fault is at your ISP end.

Had a similar problem a few years back with AOL, with a few sites not loading. I proved it by getting to the sites via another ISP dial-up.
Luckily for me it wasn't a site I wanted to visit daily.

If I recall correctly it took months to resolve. So I don't blame you for changing provider.

I'm convinced it is. The trouble is it's very difficult to move an ISP from it's default position which is that it's the customer's fault. Then again I suppose we get what we pay for and if I want a better service I should be prepared to pay more.

Currently using the free Google DNS servers again but with no improvement in service. There are probably many others that I haven't discovered but I'm wondering what is common to both the Travelex and National Express websites that is causing them not to load. Surely therein lies a clue to the fault.
  • Hi there. We too are in Norfolk, and we too are having the same issue. Seems to happen most on graphics heavy pages like facebook, ebay, and amazon. We've had endless issues with the post office, and they've always maintained it's our internal wiring, despite it being completely installed and regularly checked out by my BT engineer dad. Given the thread details above, I'm rapidly drawing the conclusion that it's time to change.
  • I noticed this thread was started some time ago, and for the past 2 weeks Twitter, Facebook and eBay take ages to load. I can get some resultts from eBay, Facebook doesn't load pics and Twitter doesn't load at all. I'm also in Norfolk, Thetford to be precise. Quite frustrating. Shame it's not my own house, and contract. Would have sorted it out really quick...
