Hugs to Tru, so sorry about your friend. About your memory, hope I'm not being rude as I don't know peoples ages. if you are anywhere close to beginning menopause that could account for the symptoms. When it happened to me I thought I was getting alzeimhers as my dad had had it. Anyway I was browsing a magazine and found a letter from a lady with the same, doctor said it was menopause , some people get it really badly but for most it's just irritating.
Hope your DH gets the garden sorted Pen Pin , it will be nice for you to sit out there and enjoy your niece's stay.
Love to all, sun is trying to come out here.:T

    That's interesting, thanks Miffy  I'm 41.

There's been lots of stress lately, most days I feel like packing a bag and walking out the door. I just can't be bothered with people at the moment. I put the irritations, memory loss etc. down to a sort of hangover from all the hassle. I'll keep an eye on my feelings for the next few weeks and see how I am at the end of the month.

    Afternoon all,

so sorry to hear of your friend Tru and best wishes to the newly engaged couple.

My weekend is as dismal as the weather. Unfortunately MrJudi is going through one of his 'emigrating' phases again. He just keeps on and on and on and wont shut up. He wants to go and i dont. He wont be happy until he whisks me thousands of miles away from everything familiar and everyone i know. He knows that if he put his foot down and decided to go i'd have to follow as i couldnt support the house by myself and would hate to be on my own but he cant go unless i sell the house to finance our move which i wont do. He wants to move, then he must finance it.

Ive even got as far as asking him how i'd cope in a strange country with a husband who has had a major stroke (he's had 3 in 10 years) but he just shrugs it off as though it wont happen.

Roll on Wednesday when he's back at work.

NO OS for me today cause i'm going back to bed to get away from the moaning.

    Have a super Sunday all,

    Afternoon,
Tru-so sorry to hear about your friend, and you're feeling a bit down.Hope things improve soon, and for Judi and DD.
FS-congrats to your DS and his gf :j
Well,DS1 arrived back from Tenerife in the early hours, but not DS2 who has had his passport stolen  and missed the flight as he was in the police station for about 3 hours. The airline call centre was shut as it was weekend, and the consulate,so he has to go tomorrow to get docs to travel back.DS1 had his iphone pickpocketed earlier in the week, and another mate had a gold chain taken from round his neck,so not a very happy trip really :(DS2 is ok for money atm,but depends when he can get another flight.Luckily they were staying with a friend who lives over there so at least he's not paying for extra accomodation.

Been to see DH aunt and uncle this aft, horrible weather.Just about to have tea,Marks dine in deal, but I've made a rhubarb and ginger crumble for after.

Hope the weather doesnt spoil peoples plans, and you still have a good BH xx
Enjoy your nieces visit PP :)

    Evening all!
Have finally emptied every washing basket, all dried, will start sorting it tomorrow, holiday clothes back in vacuum bag in cases and ordinary stuff and work uniforms to the ironing mountain, OH working tomorrow so will tackle some then!
Car window was fixed this morning, so finally got to the supermarket, and have just had a big plate of mince and tatties with plain bread for dinner, dishes done and OHs sandwiches made for tomorrow, so time to relax with a glass of wine!
