10/5-17/5 £450 I've got to pay the rent again Monday (council has paid £100, I'll top it up to £250) she'll have to wait the next HB week when the council give me the rest to have the rest - couldn't get down Friday to pay her. But she wants £360 on top of that.

So you paid £450 last week to cover a 7 day period?????? (10/5-17/5). What the ****!

And in an earlier post you said the HB was coming to you, but now, once again, you are saying "council has paid £100"???

You really must clarify what's has been paid in rent, from the beginning, up to date.

You said earlier you had records.

Get them out. Make a list of dates from the start of the tenancy and put down exactly what has been paid, because frankly all the contradictory and missing information you've provided/not provided in this thread means certainly WE cannot advise you, and more importantly, YOU cannot hope to work out if you are up to date or not.

Council paid £100 - meaning HB has paid us that and I topped it up.

I'll wrote down my rent paid and dates in a bit when I've got them all together :)

What gets paid to you, by HB or council or whoever, is totally irrelevant, and just muddies the waters.

What matters is what rent is paid to the landlord.

Please only tell us about HB/council payments if they are made to the landlord (ie in your very first post you said "she had a lump sum off the council come the 29/8" so I assume this is money the landlord received....)
