No pram with small front wheels (like the uppababy) will handle rougher terrain as well as something like a Mountain buggy which has full-size air tyres on all wheels. If you're walking along a slightly bumpy path, it'll be fine (but a little juddery for baby), but if you're yomping through fields, then probably not the best tool for the job.

It handles dirt tracks with ease and manages no problem over sodden muddy park land as I found out one day when my youngest son decided to chase after some squirrels :rotfl: I have never tried it in a field though as I don't know any farmers and am not in the habit of trespassing on private property

If walking with your baby and your dogs is a major concern it may be worth asking in the pet forum what others have found suitable.

Also it may be worth looking at at baby carrier if the terrain you going to be walking on is very rugged. I have one of the BushBaby backpack carriers that I use for my daughter when we go hiking. She adores it as it as she is very high up, has a great view, and of course has both hands free to restyle my hair :eek: Before this I used a Moby wrap which I loved. Also a great method for transporting your baby through airports.
