I dont know if this has ever been brought up but I thought I would share my experience. I have Sky tv, phone and BB
I checked my Sky account online just out of boredom and had a look at my bill. I noticed I was being charged 50p for having the payment comeout of a CC??. So I had a look back and had been getting charged 50p extra since I had Sky installed.... so I e-mailed them and complained and was told it was my fault becuase I said it was a CC, I dont even have a CC. Well anyway cut a long story short after speaking to a manager I was refunded 2 years worth and it set up as a debit card, only £12 but its £12 they shouldn't have been getting!
So have a look and see if this is a common thing or just a one off?

It states clearly on the Sky website that you'll be charged extra for various payment methods like using Credit Cards,Why they charge this I have no idea,I'm assuming it's some admin fee or something.
One thing I learnt with companies like Sky early on,check your bill at least 2 weeks before it's due, then if the is something odd,you have that time to challenge the payment before they take it.0 -
My point was they had set it up as a CC when its a debit card. CC = 50p, Debit card = 0p charge.
So i was curious if this has or is happening to other people.0 -
