Guess it is just like IKEA which has an English pronunciation different to the way it was meant to be which has stuck. English emphasises the I more. (eye-key-a as opposed to ich-kay-a)0

When I was a kid we had "Nestle's" milk, not "Ness-lay". Peugeots were "Pew-joes" and Renaults were "Ren-orlts".

Skoda and SEAT (pronounced say-at not see-at) are both better put together than VW/Audi.
The SEAT Leon is faster, better-handling and more reliable than it's Audi sister car. This despite having the same chassis and engine/gearbox.Never Knowingly Understood.
