I'm afraid this made me remember a recent quote

Can't really see the site advising me on getting the best deal on car insurance by doing a search on moneysupermarket, compare the market, go compare, aviva, and direct line.

I guess they'll just tell me to use money supermarket???

anyone got any money saving tips for martin to save some tax payments lol ....good for him i say but its down to the people that use and come up with the deals and ideas on this site that made it what it is today . not just one man! lets just hope the site works as well in the future as it has up to now with its members all helping each other.

Martin, well done to you. You've helped me understand so much more about money - my finances are in a better state than ever before. The bank wants to give me a review of MY money but I don't need it 'cos my savings are how I want them to be and I don't have any debts!! (smart bottom that I am) 'cos my mantra before I buy anything is actually shorter than yours - it's 'if in doubt -leave it out' - whether it's a house, a car, clothes or a bar of chocolate.
I've had vouchers, freebies, tips on ISAs and savings, flights and holidays, car,house,home and travel insurance, tax credits and tax coding and loads more.
I look forward to hearing your (sometimes frantic) dulcit tones on Fridays Radio 2 with Jeremy Vine - even if you can't understand why some people enjoy music!

Well Martin deserves some of the credit, but many users have contributed many long hours as well. Should all stakeholders have a say in this, evidently it has been decided not!
