No it doesn't thank goodness, and Martin will still be around for the next 4 months. But the site will be run like it always has, he was quite clear about that in the interview.

It always has been he has never said it isnt.
He makes money using MS links as it is
from BBC
The two websites already have a very close business relationship.
In the 12 months to the end of last October, MoneySavingExpert generated revenues of nearly £16m from 39 million users.
Of this income, about 59% was earned from referral fees paid by MoneySupermarket.Katie22313 wrote: »surely this means this website will now be commercialised?0 -

And he has control of this does he?0 -
This is a sad day.
Since when MoneySupermarket stand for consumer interests? Now they will?
Yes, alright.
What MoneySupermarket paid for is the trafic that is going throught the MSE's website. Now they are going to try and direct it to their own websites and try and make money off it.0 -

The deal was announced on the stock market this morning. Moneysupermarket will pay £60million upfront, which is a mix of cash and shares, with £27million more conditional on meeting targets. The deal also includes a 'golden handcuffs' arrangement that will see Mr Lewis continue in his role for at least three years.
From the DM website, so it must be true.

Oh ye of little faith. This site is Martin Lewis' name sake, he isn't going to allow it to be made into anything he doesn't want it to be. We all trust him, that's why we use this site in the first place.
Also, those with questions about it all, it is all spoken about in the "Latest MSE News" section:jThe Money Saving Wannabe :j
