Also, those with questions about it all, it is all spoken about in the "Latest MSE News" section

Think about it why would a commercial company buy MSE? They are buying it for it's user base and to make more money its that simple. You can dress it up as much as you want but the fact remains that is the reason they bought it0

A shame still I guess it was always on the cards. Well let's see how many users stick around after all a fair chunk of this site is reliant on us the ordinary folk passing on our tips and bargains, with out this it just becomes another pointless price comparison / fake deal site.My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

As a long time MSE-er, I'm a bit sad about this news. It's terrific for Martin and very well deserved so I have no problem with that side of it. It's just that MSE felt like it was 'ours' and now it's going to be part of a big faceless company. Time will tell of course if it's going to feel any different but definitely a bittersweet day.0

Congrats to Martin, he has worked hard on this over the years, and £87 mill is a nice little nest egg. How many of you would have turned it down.
Now if Martin would like to make any donations to my life style I would like a Range Rover running on LPG, cost £22k (second hand,) ta0 -
