I think Kazaa will get signed up with MS to help them keep the Top ISAs up to date0

Will we still have impartial advice?
It is the people on this site which keep it ticking.0 -

That's the bit I worry about.
Currently IFAs and such give up their time, don't display who they work for and don't get any (and if they do, very little) business.
Now, Dunston is going to become rich by saying who he works for and getting loads of clients (not that I have a problem with Dunston getting this, but new users who aren't to be trusted advertising and then the problems will start).
Businesses as well are not allowed to advertise. Will this continue? Who knows. Will MSM charge businesses to post on here?
I can't see it continuing on the good road it is on.0 -
Hope we can still post links to moneyfacts.co.uk comparison site!

Why is this in the Savings & Investments forum anyway? It's way off topic.
Actually I don't think it is off topic, lot's of good financial advice is given in this section, some may be concerned about vested interests with a new owner.
In any case even if it was off topic does it really matter?0 -
Hey guys 'n gals, stop worrying. Nothing much will change in the immediate future - - we have been "under the reigns" of the MSE Chief Editor for years! If anyone ever thought MSE wasn't a commercial exercise, they have to think again - - - nobody can run a website, and definitely also not the Forum part of it, of the calibre of MSE, without having significant funding.
The nice thing is, as proven by MSE, you (or someone, lol!) can make loads of money from not being obviously linked to any given commercial outfit(s). No reason to believe this should change much after the Moneysupermarket acquisition, is there?
If I am wrong, and/or things become very unacceptable for posters, I am sure people will know how to "de-camp" to better places.0 -
Evening everyone
By all means discuss this but if you could do it on the Site Feedback board discussion thread that'll mean you won't be stopping other people discussing MoneySaving on this board.
Thanks in advance
