Does anyone know if this would combine with a double points voucher?

    Not usually.

I have tried on the shopping events when they gave 1000 points for £50 spend and been told I could not use it.

You could give it a go though!

Can anyone help before I place an order please...

Have a total order value of £87.04
The jubilee points promotion is showing as 522 points

Can this be right? at 10 points for every £1 spent if over £50 online
Should it not be 870 points or even 370 if it applies for the difference.

If I am being a bit dim, I would be grateful if someone can spare a few moments to enlighten me before I lose out on points on an unusually large purchase for me and moneysavingly calculated to be purchased now with this promotion. Help...please

    Normally it would be 348 points for an £87 spend. And 870 - 348 = 522 :)

So I would imagine there is another box saying somewhere that you are getting your 348 normal points, and then plus the 522 jubilee points, making your total up to the 870 you were expecting?

    Thank you

I'm getting 870 on the advantage card line and 522 under jubilee promotion, although this is in the txt and not in the totals box. So it will be exactly as you say a total of 870. Thanks

    I shall press send!!!

When does this offer end? I have a few bits I need to buy from Boots but wasn't planning on going until the end of the week but if it ends before then I might go sooner!

The offer is available online at Boots.com between 01/06/2012 & 05/06/2012.

    Not sure about in store

I spent about £60 today and the sales assistant said that I couldn't use my double points voucher because of the jubilee points event. I said that I thought it would just go through and double the ordinary amount of points earned but she was adamant that it wouldn't scan - she didn't bother trying - and gave it me back saying "not to be used in conjunction with any other offer."

Thought it strange that my till receipt had a reminder on about my double points voucher...

My mum then decided that she wanted to buy some fragrance with the £5 off voucher I'd just got from the till - I asked the girl at the fragrance counter about the double points voucher and she said it would work and should have been put through! She kindly doubled the points manually from my previous transaction and let me use the voucher on the fragrance. Then she was going to give her colleague a little ticking off - oops!
  • I went in boots today and spent a considerable amount.... I had a couple of vouchers from the machine when I paid, and I also had a double points coupon that had been posted to me... I asked the woman if I could still use it along with getting the jubilee points and she said "it should still work, we will soon see" and she scanned it and it did indeed give me double points!!! :T very happy.... Got a shed load of points today!!!!!! :j

But you didn't get ' 20 ' points per pound, you would have got double the normal- ' 8 ' , then the jubilee event would only have needed to add a further ' 2 ' points per pound - so all in all ' 10 ' points .

You would have been better to keep the double points for another day and gets further ' 8 ' points instead of ' 4 '.

You have used one of the uses of your double points coupon for no further gain.

    Hope this makes sense .
