Afternoon everyone
Very cloudy here today.Didnt manage to post yesterday. Feeling a little tired today and have a headache behind my left eye so I have just taken a paracetamol to hopefully get rid of it. DS2 now finished school for the next week, so my peaceful days have now ended. We are taking him to see the Horrible Histories live show tomorrow as part of his birthday treat, got the tickets through the offer on mse only paid £10 each. Oh and we got a renewal quote for our home ins through the post so thought I would check online, found a quote with same co for £120 cheaper so rang them and they agreed to match it and throw in free legal cover.(would not have done this pre MSE).
Managed to get a wash load out on the line, will put on airer in a short while to finish off. Kitchen cleaned, dw emptied and reloaded with breakfast pots. did a bit of weeding in the garden. Still need to hoover stairs yet.
PP - Hope the new treatment helps you.
Hilstep - Sorry to hear you have had a bad week with your falls, hope you feel better and hope your dd feels better too.
BB - I hope your first shift went well.
JackieO - Happy Birthday to your dgs Mikey, Im sure he will love his trampoline.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care0 -
miffy - the bump is growing well. its growing rather quickly in fact lol. had my second scan and we're having another boy. was meant to be keeping it quiet from jackieg but let it slip within 26mins i think it was :rotfl: still battling with my blood pressure. it went down for a bit but has crept back up again. other than that all is good with bump!
ds has been unwell with an ear infection but seems a bit more on the mend today. hubby took over to the park for a little while as he was getting bored being stuck at home. i didnt think he was well enough for nursery but he seems to be getting there.
os way has been lost hence the reason for not posting lately
it has been one thing after another so have been opting for convience rather than moneysaving...
must get back on track soon though. or so i keep telling myself
hope everyone is ok and those doing exams are getting through them ok. hugs to anyone who wants/needs one

Evening all,
Nice day here to-day, took DD2, SGD1&3 out for lunch, which DGD1 threw up outside the restaurant...felt really bad as food was lovely, think that she stuffed it down too fast...with a fizzy drink, was not impressed! They have all now gone to hurling match to see DGS1 play, so am enjoying the peace, do want to get some tidying done to kitchen, maybe even wash the floor before they come back.
Hope that Mikey has had a wonderful day JackieO.
Hilstep....please take care of yourself.
Not sure what I have done to my back but am very stiff and sore....can't all be just because I have another birthday coming up, can it?? Swimming last night seemed to make it worse which I find very surprising considering that swimming is meant to be the best exercise for people with joint problems.
No cooking to-day as we went out for lunch, there is lots of sandwich stuff in fridge, bread and fruit so not going to worry about anyone to-night....can be a help yourself meal if anyone is hungry.
Hugs to all in need or want of one or more, enjoy your long, long weekend and jubilee celebrations

Fell asleep at 8 woken up by neighbour whose son's ball went in our garden so catching up a bit on threads and wondering where DS is. He's working tonight but no idea how long shift is. Hoping they'll feed him as OH has gone camping for the weekend leaving half a mouldy loaf  spending tomoz with mum. I have a 6000 word application for membership of a professional body to write  have made lots of notes on the train and need to get first draft done asap i have to pay £300 along with the application:eek::eek::eek: so do need to get it right. Was hoping work would pay but not looking hopeful. Still, when i first looked it up thought it was going to be £500 :eek::eek: but we get it cheaper cos we're an affiliated institution.20*25 for 2025: 489 / 5000
