I'm very sorry for your loss. My mum died when I was 15, and although I still get a little upset every now and then and miss her greatly, the pain does subside with time. It's good to keep pictures and take time to remember them too x

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Sending my condolences to you.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

    Sending hugs to you.
When my great aunt died my uncle was left behind in the 3 bed house, the council tried (and failed) to get him to move to a smaller property (they's lived there 20/30 odd years)

Sorry for your loss, sounds like things are tough for you right now.

What happens to your uncle depends on whether your nanny had been a joint tenant with your grandfather and when he died the house passed to her. If she was then there will be no further right for your uncle to take on the tenancy, but if she has always been a sole tenant then he will have the right to take it on. If he has always lived there then they should hopefully offer him a smaller property, but it does depend on the authority.

    Take care.
