I am devastated :(

My nanny passed away this evening. I am totally devastated my nanny, my second mum..

Weirdest thing is; her sister died 6 weeks ago, her brother died 4 weeks ago, she got admitted to hospital 3 half weeks ago with breathing problems, they did tests said she had panic attack, discharged her with inhalers, then 2 weeks ago same happened again, but when she arrived she had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest for 5-10 mins and ended up sedated in intensive care, they took her off sedation, stats were not that good, but she never woke up only after tracotomy (sp) did she stare into space then nothing, docs said she had brain damage, well family made decision to let her go no medical intervention well tonight she passed away..

Even weirder Aunty seen a pyschc (sp) 8 weeks ago who told her that an old lady with yellow hair is beckinging (calling) her children, first to go lady with white hair (first sister who passed away 6 weeks ago). ALSO another brother and sister has both been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer which has spread, there are 2 more siblings who apparently are OK.

!!!!!! is going on? And why May AGAIN? (we always lose someone in May)..

And I am scared she has lived in her 3 bed council house for 40+ years one of her sons have never left home (he is 54) !!!!!! happens to him? (is it to late to buy her home?)

I am devastated she was only 69 happened so quick.

So sorry for your loss . Im not sure about the house. My Mum recently went into a nursing home and my Brother (45) remains in there council house. We couldnt buy (Mum has alzheimers so not of sound mind) but they allowed my Brother to take over the tenancy, bearing in mind there will be bedroom tax next year on empty rooms.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Not sure about the house though. Is he is a position to buy the house? If he has always lived there I wouldn't worry too much just yet. Maybe when things are a little more settled get some advice from CAB and council. The council may possibly offer him a smaller property.
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.

So sorry for your loss but what a lovely thought that your great nan has called all her children to be with her again so they wont ever be alone. There is something really rather relaxing about this thought.

My thoughts are with you and your family x
