    Thanks

Ah - miles away, sorry !

I've used Selclene before, they are a nationwide franchise so might be worth checking out in your area. I have no idea what your local 'branch' will be like though.

    Hope you find someone suitable.

So you're paying someone to plump your cushions and arrange your nick knacks, and then no time to do the ironing? hahaha. Get her told.!

    Ummmm.

I am paying someone to clean my house which includes 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower room, a downstairs toilet, kitchen, study, dining room, living room, conservatory, utility room. I am paying her to clean it all in 3 hours, so yes, sometimes she doesn't quite get to the ironing! As for the 'plumping up cushions' - she removes the sofa cushions and hoovers under them, so yes, they are lovely and plump when she puts them back. As for 'arranging knick knacks' - she has to remove them all from the windowsill to clean it and the way in which she replaces them sometimes varies. That's it...

But by all means, I'm glad you are amused.
