I apologize if this question has been posted before but could not come across it from a UK perspective.

What hotel would you choose between the 4 listed below which are available..

Aladdin (unsure because of the major renovation work at present)

NYNY (standard rooms look quite small and bathrooms shabby I feel for Las Vegas, but if you get an upgraded room they look quite nice)

MGM Grand (hotel may be too large?)

    or

MGM Signature (not sure if it is too far away from the strip?)

I would appreciate any opinions of users who may have stayed at these properties

Signature - no contest. Absolutely gorgeous, I'm going back there next month.
It's just a few minutes walk to the MGM grand, via its own walkway. The service is amazing and the rooms are stunning. Great value for what it is, too.

Signature is by far and away the best hotel of the four you mention but liable to be a lot more expensive so as long as cost is not a problem, I agree with Andy.

NYNY was fantastic on our last Vist in 2006.

nice review of NYNY Trets. didn't realise you were there on your last visit to Vegas. Where did you stay during your previous visits?

My mates secretary came back from NYNY saying it looked a bit "tired", so we booked Mirage for only £7.50 a night extra pp.

How far from the strip is the MGM signature ?, we stayed at the Luxor last time and found it too far down the strip, and looking at the maps the MGM signature looks to be situated some way behind the original MGM grand hotel .

If I go for the NYNY with Virgin what room type do they give you ? 'Broadway Deluxe' ? and what are the chances or costs of an upgraded room on check in ?

I would have liked to have stayed at Ti but there is no availability and the Wynn is a crazy price!!!

As already stated, it's a five minute walk to the MGM grand - walk through that and you're on the strip

Oh found your post. I went looking for my travel policy last night and then couldn't find your post when I came back

I have a policy with P G Hayman under the Travel Plus brand and their Premier option offer cover for frequent flyer points, might be worth a call to make sure that included Clubcard vouchers though 023 9241 9050.

You're best off booking directly with them online - this way, you're only paying a refundable deposit.
Also, if the rates go down, you can just email them and they will amend your booking accordingly.
The rates, like any hotel in Vegas, do vary drastically - I've booked next month and my 6 night stay varies between $159 and $269. But the hotel is VERY good value for what it is
