Hi
I am looking for a good deal to Las Vegas for 7 nights and 2 adults departing at any date from the 12 April to the 27th April or any date from May 8th to May 15th.
I would like to fly with Virgin Economy and stay at any of the following properties
Treasure Island
Wynn
or
Bellagio
If possible I would like to use my Tesco Clubcard deals vouchers against the cost of the holiday (I have £700 in deals vouchers)
Do Virgin Holidays price match other companies ??

To give you an idea, Ive just gotten return flights (with American), 5 nights at the Aladdin and 4 nights at the South Point (wanted to be off the strip), convertible for 5 days, for £570 each.
Best thing to do is look at those properties and see what weekends are the cheapest. I know the weekend of the 11th is pretty cheap at the moment. TI is going to be the cheapest. But you know, the Aladdin and MGM can be gotten for $6-80 a night, except for on weekends.0 -
hi
did you book the flights and hotels seperately ? Do American fly direct to Vegas ? I would prefer a direct flight.0 -
the wynn is the most exclusive I think, so could end up costing you alittle more. My mate and his wife stayed in Escalibur and said it was cheapest when I was there last Jan. we stayed abit off the strip as was there for 3 weeks0

Hi
What travel companies usually come in cheapest with their prices ?
Fleetway are one, any others ?
I have seen flights with Virgin Atlantic and hotel package with Lastminute and staying at the
Mandalay Bay for £680.30 pp for 7 nights
or
Ti for £683.80. pp
Would Virgin Holidays match these prices as part of their price match policy?0 -
I think you're better off either looking at last minute deals on either lastminute.com or experdia.com. Either of those will give you no hassle bookings and you can specify to go direct with virgin (my preference from all the research i've done and received).
again you'll see an awful lot of information on the other las vegas threads where i've asked loads of questions but it has been suggested that the mandalay bay has a fab swimming pool and good accomodation for your money. Rule of thumb is no to circus circus and stratosphere. Apart from that 680pp for 7 nights is rather reasonable and if you haven't been before to Vegas (which I haven't either) many recommend you give the threads on fatwallet.com a read to get an idea of any deals coming up with regards to the hotels you're looking at and of course the thread on tipping the desk clerk which seems to be a the norm and a good way to get an upgrade...
As i said i haven't been to Vegas yet so my advice to you is through research that i've done and been given - the threads about las vegas on here are brilliant and I would give them a read before booking anything just so you get a feel for it all.
let us know what you decide or if you have any more questions

Hi we stayed at Treasure Island in february at a cost of £760 for the hotel room for the week for both of us booked with https://www.relaxabroad.com. Also we booked flights with Virgin direct on their website https://www.virgin-atlantic.com for £340 each. We priced up the Bellagio but couldn't stretch to that. Hope this helps.0

You could try this web site for flights:
http://www.flightcomparison.co.uk/flightcomparison/index.aspx
and then use this web site for hotel deals:
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?catid=63&threadid=704925&newest=1#last
Some of the deals are as low as $69 per night, but you have to be quick to get those deals, eg MGM.
There is at least one Bellagio and one TI offer on those, but it changes daily.0 -
I apologize if this question has been posted before but could not come across it from a UK perspective.
What hotel would you choose between the 4 listed below which are available..
Aladdin (unsure because of the major renovation work at present)
NYNY (standard rooms look quite small and bathrooms shabby I feel for Las Vegas, but if you get an upgraded room they look quite nice)
MGM Grand (hotel may be too large?)
or
MGM Signature (not sure if it is too far away from the strip?)
I would appreciate any opinions of users who may have stayed at these properties0 -
NYNY was fantastic on our last Vist in 2006. rooms are only small if you upgrade to Park Avenue suites ( to immitate compact real New York Living.) .
our room was plenty big enough with good big screen TV , a good bathroom ( with plenty of lovely freebies), not a massive hike from casino floor to our room, and best of all the comfyiest bed i have ever slept in apart from my own.
Staff were all unfailing polite and helpful and loved us cause we were brits. the check in guy said he would sort us out a special room and we were very happy with it.
Avoid Chin Chin restaurant ( espically for breakfast).
other than that America is a good cheap 24 hr diner.
Il Forinia was good with excellent in casino terrace for watching the action from ( also great Deli Sandwiches in the side shop)
Nine fine Irish men was great fun and the lady owner gave us a free lunch and drinks and a pin badge each after i got talking to her at the bar one afternoon without realising who she was.
Gondazalas Gondazalas the Mexican diner was cheap friendly and as good a mexican meal as i have had at 10 times the price. be sure to get a yard of Margarita !!!
Gallaghers look nice but we never got round to going even though it was right next to our tower.
The Bar at Times Square with the Dueling pianos was my nighcap drink stop and always packed because of the quality of the entertainment
Coyote Ugly is an aquired taste IMO.
Rita Rudner was very funny and worth the price of the ticket ( which we got half price. PM or post for how)
Manhatten express Roller Coaster is a must ( and is not an issue as regards noise in your room) . be sure to get the book of coupons they hand out around Starbucks and Chin Chin 's for a 2 for 1 coupon. you should never have to pay full price to ride it.
downsides ??????? no Poker room ( yet ) and some of the burger bars in Greenwich village, but that is being harsh

Alladin is still under going renovations but old Alladin rooms got good reviews,
your right the MGM grand is a huge Labyrinth ( though Ceasers beats it in the getting lost stakes), and spoke to aguest on the way back who it took 25 mins to get from room to street. but you have plenty to keep intrested in there
Signature is supposed to very nice thoughBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
