Just wondering the exact same thing here. Their offers look a bit too good to be true don't they?0

NO not at all safe I would say.
Did a who is
And that came up as the company DIRECTI INTERNET SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. D/B/A Which made alarm bells ring in my head.
Did a quick search for them and found this from back in 2008
Seems like they are back and trying the Credit Card scam yet again.
(they are a known host for scams)
Can not post the links sorry do a google search for the company name0 -
Thanks guys,

Hi all, funny that, they will not let you pay by Visa Master card if your country has VAT. Informed Google about their site, hopefully will be taken down.0

..s'funny this, but I too have become VERY suspicious of this organisation, which is why I entered this site to gather more information/sound out others opinions. You know when you get a smell for something not being 'quite right'? "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.."
In my case, I wanted to purchase a digital camera, and found their prices - shall we say, "extremely attractive." Making further enquiries have only deepened my suspicions: "No personal replies/offshore island location (i.e. anywhere?!) Payment methods which are 'non-mainstream' - and I won't have to pay VAT or ANY other duties etc etc."
My bullsh*t meter is sounding 'Yellow Alert'..0 -
Thanks Folks, I wondered when the soundbar I was looking was a third of the price!? , when you check the Belfast address under "Contact Us" page & Google map/streetview it its the housing executive offices !? I would say a completely fake company & avoid like the plague0

Sorry to say that I know because I have lost money - THIS IS A SCAM - I'm usually fairly meticulous but because of certain circumstances leading me to desperately buy something I couldn't find elsewhere I bought from them using the PayPoint Method. Lost over £100. My lesson has been learnt - please don't anyone else lose their money to these scum. The name of their site was different when I used it but the look and products was exactly the same. So also avoid "UKDigitalMedia".0

I too was initially interested in Online Media Collection's 'cheap' offerings, but I did immediately sense it was possibly all 'too good to be true'. Following my gut feeling, and the well versed adage, I looked up their company address details on their website's contact tab. So, they're mainly listed abroad and have an address in NI: As NI is considered the UK they should be listed at Companies House... they're not.
Gut feeling seems right, they're definitely not a genuine UK company and they're probably not a company at all. Assume they're just a shop window full of empty boxes who'll take your money/card details, but never send goods in return. AVOID.0 -
When a company doesn't have a secure payment form or pushes you to a PayPoint or Western Union outlet, that in itself should sound alarm bells in your head.
Most companies that don't offer a secure system, tend to fire you over to Paypal, SagePage or something similar.
Anything over £50 I tend to stick on credit card as I know my provider will cover me. However, an offer too good to be true, generally is just that.0 -
Shame this lot are still popping up in google shopping searches... Knew that price was just too good to be true
I placed an order but alarm bells went when the payment method became apparent... and then I found this page after searching for scams in relation to onlinemediacollection.
